Aloysius Yapp

Aloysius Yapp heads into this season as the World Nineball Tour's No. 1, a position earned through one of the most dominant recent runs in the sport. In 2025 he became the first player to win three Matchroom Open majors in the same year — the UK Open, the inaugural Florida Open and the US Open — and added a second consecutive Reyes Cup title with Team Asia along the way.

His rise began with back-to-back ranking-event wins at Wolf's Den Billiard Club and the International Open, the latter defended a year later. Five WNT ranking titles and three major crowns since have made the Singaporean one of the sport's most feared closers.
