Carlo Biado
Carlo Biado, known on tour as the "Black Tiger", made history in 2025 as the first Filipino to win the World Pool Championship twice, edging defending champion Fedor Gorst 15–13 in the final. The result lifted him to No. 2 in the World Nineball Tour rankings and capped a second straight Reyes Cup title for Team Asia.
Biado's résumé stretches back to a breakthrough 2017 world title over compatriot Roland Garcia, and includes a US Open win in 2021 plus podium finishes at the US Open and World Cup of Pool. Two WNT ranking titles in 2024, at the Chinese Taipei Open and the RAXX MVP, underline a career built on remarkable longevity.
