Eklent Kaçi, known as the "Golden Eagle", first broke through on tour in 2023 by defeating Joshua Filler in London to win the UK Open Pool Championship. He returned to the winner's circle in 2025 with the McDermott Open title, edging a closely fought final against Fedor Gorst.

The Albanian's finest run came at the 2024 World Pool Championship, where a runner-up finish made him the first European to qualify for the inaugural Reyes Cup. He has also won the WPA World Ten-Ball Championship twice, in 2021 and 2023.
