Nicknamed "The Island Boy", Jonás Souto has emerged as one of the tour's brightest young talents out of Ibiza. His breakthrough arrived at the 2024 Mexico Open, his first Matchroom ranking title, and he built on it in 2025 with two more WNT ranking wins at the Seattle Nineball Open and the Taom V10 Open, plus a run to the UK Open final.
The Spaniard has shown he can compete with the sport's elite over multiple seasons, with a third-place finish at the 2024 FSR Nineball Open, a last-16 run at the 2022 European Open and a last-32 appearance at the 2024 World Pool Championship.
