Known as "The Sledgehammer," Liu Ri Teng has built a reputation for punching above expectation against the tour's biggest names, none more so than at the 2024 UK Open Pool Championship.

There he beat Scottish Open champion Duong Quoc Hoang and Mexico Open winner Jonas Souto before falling to two-time World Champion Albin Ouschan, the best run of his WNT career to date. His prize money on tour stands at $13,600.
