Tobias Bongers broke through on the World Nineball Tour in 2026, defeating Felix Vogel in the final of the Cuetec Belgian Open to claim his maiden ranking-event title.

The German has steadily climbed the rankings in recent years, reaching the quarter-finals at both the 2024 UK Open and 2025 European Open, and scored his biggest career win over former World Champion Francisco Sanchez Ruiz in Sarajevo.
